1.What led you to write?
I don’t really know, I guess I enjoy reading too a some what unnatural amount. That’s probably the reason I like writing and I enjoy coming up with creative ideas that are needed for a good story.

2. When did you start writing?
No idea, I started learning how to write before I started school (my mom wanted me to learn how to read and write early). I’ve always had creative ideas and tend to day dream a lot so I guess writing is something that came naturally.

But I guess when I seriously started writing was in 6th grade when my teacher did creative writing lessons. My next few teachers after that they didn’t like doing creative writing so I started writing at home to get my ideas out. And I do say I had a lot! But I guess when I really wanted to seriously started to want to write a good tale was actually this year! Starting with my The Language of Flowers (or as LoF since it’s easier), it includes the lovely Forsythia Inn and the next few stories after it are all ready to be written out. Forsythia is my only one that it is current production and is being read… I have no idea if people are actually reading my stories.

3. What does writing represent in your life?
I guess it represents how I enjoy fairy tales and romances of people falling in love in the end. That’s particularly the stories I like to write. Mainly my story’s are wishes for people to fall in love and have a happy ending in life. Ahhh, this sounded like people in real life are crack pots our something. But what I mean is I want people to feel warm fuzzies when they read my stories.

4. Are you happy with your current style?
Yeah, pretty much. I stick to the writing style I feel most comfortable with, which is to say my own. I try writing in different ways but I tend to feel lazy and I can’t write like that again so I stick to my own little style that makes me at ease.

5. Do you do editing?
I do my best! I don’t think in the most accurate when I edit my work. But I do my own editing and when I feel uncertain I force others to see if it’s right. heehee ^-^

6. Do you read about writing (creative writing books, grammar books...)?
Sometimes, but when I do I like to look at how to come up with a interesting character. I know that’s weird, but I like to check peoples opinions on what a certain characters should be like. I also read other stuff if I feel stuck and such….

7. Favourite genre?
I can’t really say I have a favourite genre. I tend to like books on the style of writing more so than anything. I can read mystery’s (Nancy Drew, Hardy Boys etc… ), or romances it differs. But I do got say i do like reading a book which involves a certain era of time, or a situation that goes from reality to a fantasy sort of thing… I don’t what I’m talking about anymore… next question!

8. Favourite author(s)?
Ummm, a favourite author OK. I have none. I can’t remember authors names that much. I tend to forget then move on to the next book. I don’t really stick to the author that much, unless it’s a mangaka… Than that’s a whole other story.

9. Favourite book?
I don’t have a favourite but I’ll write a few books that I really enjoyed.
Camilla—Madeline l’egle (This was a touchingly sad book)
Water for Elephants--- Sara Gruen (A liked so much to even do a book report on it)
A Lost Garden—Helen Humphrey (OMG so sad… TT-TT)
Vampire Academy--Richelle Mead (Awesome series)
And that’s it, I can’t remember any other books than these ones

10. What do you prefer to write?
I’ve touched a lot of genres trying to find what I really like to write. I tried fantasy and mystery but I don’t have to brain power enough to come up with a good situation. I can do light fantasy which is having characters appear in a magical type area. But what I really like to write is romances, not like adult kind of romances. But light romances where people fall in love! Also I write quite a bit of reality/realism type stories.

11. Is there anything you can't write?
Like I said before, I’m not that good at doing involved mysteries or fantasies. I don’t have the patience or right mind set to write something like that, so I stick to something that I enjoy writing.

12. What is the weirdest thing you have ever written?
6th grade, for creative writing I wrote about a octopus that attacked a boy in a pool :| I might have the story still in my computer… but I probably don’t since it was along time ago and I probally didn’t back it up after a few computer viruses. I don’t know why I remember it but I guess it was something I just couldn’t forget. Also I believe it was 6th grade since me and this girl had chosen the same story starting thing. And she wrote a really good story and I had to read mine after her and I was so pizzed! Yeah, also I was the only one competing… so yeah.

13. Choose a topic: love, death, friendship. Now write a couple of lines about it.
We’ve been friends since we’ve been in diapers , but thus forth I hope to be friends in our wheelchairs.

How’s that? I had the temptation to write to be in diapers once more… but I didn’t I was good.

14. Do you think you have influences from any professional writer? If so, which ones?
Hmmm, I probably got some inspiration from some books that gave me ideas for my writing. I read this book (Can’t remember the name) and it was during the time of King Henry VIII and that gave me the inspiration to write the LoF series. Also a couple romance novels made me swoon over too, yeah.

15. Worst book you have read so far?
The Twilight saga… Frig what a series, the book sucked -Heehee- and so do the movie/s. actually I only saw the first one so I could see if it was any good, but after that mess I have no plans to see the rest. Other then that series, I can’t remember any other books since if I don’t like it I don’t finish it.

16. Why is it so bad, in your opinion?
OK first the characters how no depth. It had the potential to be a good book if it was more looked into and Bella wasn’t so boring. Also there was no plot to really, it was kind of like this “I love you sparkling vampire, go away icky yet sexy boring human woman’ that was basically the book. In till something happens where these vampires are like I wanna’ eat chu!! Rawr! yeah… Had potential; to bad, so sad.

17. Choose one of your characters and describe them in three words.
I guess the current character I’m writing about, which is Margaret –Maggie- Harrison. These are the words I chose and I hope that it suits Maggie since I’m really bad at doing these kinds of things when explaining a person lol

Bonhomie (Best. Word. Ever! Look it up if you don’t know it), bold, and Gentle.

18. Does your character feel ‘alive’?
I guess she’s ‘alive’ I mean to me she feels like her heart is beating and moving. If you mean that she is alive as in a she has a lot of depth as in a character, than yes since I put a lot into trying to make her personality.

19. Could you kill this character?
Never! I actually really enjoy writing about Maggie since I have her little more in-depth than most of my character. I tried to make her a little shallow in some cases, as in gossiping about boys with Beatrice. So if she died a lot of people would go ‘What the Efff???” since a lot of people like her. She has Dia, Beatrice, Mr. Harrison, and Deven and lets not forget she’s quite popular around town… actually I don’t think anyone knows that but myself but now you know! So no I could never kill her off.

20. Do you hate any of your own characters?
Hmmm, no I don’t think I ever could. Well I could hate a character by how they interact with another character and it would make me go ‘don’t worry my Heroine I will give you a happy ending!’ so in the most sense I really like my hated characters. I hate the way I make them hate the main heroine/hero, but I would love them for helping me root for the good guy. It probably doesn’t make any sense, but what I been trying to say is that I could never hate a character since I made them that way. So they are my babies and even if there totally rude and mean I will like them anyways. Like a stalker!

21. Now, let's be honest. Every writer has their own favourite creation. What's your favourite story, out of everything you have written/planned to write? And character?
Actually a story that I’m really proud of is the story I wrote for school actually. It’s called ‘To Sunny California’. It might not have the best title ever, but I’m really proud of how well it turned out. I worked insanely hard on it writing pages of rough work out trying to write the story. Now I could rant all day about it, but I have to say which character I like most. That Character is Red, he isn’t the main character but more of a supporting character. He’s Carters boss, and he is hilarious to write when I first came up with him. He’s a huge guy wearing the stereotypical plaid shirt. I made him goofy and fun-loving, he is like the bully wannabe, but he’s more of the comedic type. Ahh, good times…

22. Have you ever abandoned an idea for a story? Why?
I have quite a few abandoned stories. But at that time I didn’t really know what genre I liked to write yet. Since it’s wasn’t until this fall I found a writing genre I really enjoyed. So many stories would be scrapped since I either got bored of writing the story or had hated writing whatever it was; The characters started to annoy me since they weren’t that in-depth; I started a project I was to lazy busy to finish; or lastly I started working on something else which occupied my time.

23. Have you ever deleted a whole piece of work? Why?
No, usually I just keep in the ‘abandoned’ folder on my computer (It’s not really named that it something longer but it means the same). When I wrote stories on paper I end up throwing them out not thinking, but intentionally? No I don’t.

24. And finally: make up a completely original character right now and describe them briefly. It doesn't even have to be human!
Ira is a girl who every day her mother would lift her chin and snort. She had twin sister named Ria would get a gentle smile from their mother and face grab, and coo at her. Ira resented her sister for being popular in school and was always treated with warmth at home. Ira filled with bitterness, she would try her hardest everyday to not look like her sister. She cut her hair silky almost white hair short and spiky, while Ria kept her long hair. And now both in high school, she was ostracised again by her classmates by being told she should try to look more like Ria. Ira wanted to be free from her sister Ria that was her only wish. The only thing she could do, to not be known for being Ria’s sister, was to change her whole world forever.

I actually kind of like the characters Ira and Ria, I thought if I was going to do twins I thought I should find a anagram names to make it see they where stuck to each other. You can interpret Ria’s personality anyway you want. I more had her for being the golden child in front of their parents, and Ira being the stubborn tomboy child. There are a few relationships like this having one child get everything and other neglected from the warmth. Now I kind of want to write more about them >-<’ Hmm maybe I will, who knows lol

Well I hope you enjoyed reading this! I don’t have many stories on this account but I hope you’ll take the time to start reading more of my work when I get it up! ^^
